Legal aid training has been part of the skill-sharing phase of the project and can be considered as a follow-up on established and/or improved reporting mechanisms. “As we see it, the reporting mechanisms are just a first step in tackling hate crimes and hate speech, while professional legal aid is crucial for successful completion of hate crime cases.” The legal aid training was therefore seeking for improvement of assistance provided to victims in legal matters. The training meant for legal and paralegal professionals took place in April 2018, in Prague.
